As Seth Meyers gears up to take over the reins of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon early next year, we got reaction to the news from fellow TV stars and found out the longtime Saturday Night Live writer/performer has a lot of big fans on the red carpet!
Former Weekend Update co-host Amy Poehler said she couldn't be happier for Meyers, predicting he'll be just as entertaining as a talk show host as he was in the anchor chair. "Seth crushes it every week on SNL, and now he's just going to have to crush it four more times a week."
Michael J. Fox -- himself making a return to series TV this fall on a new sitcom -- said he's a big fan of both Meyers and Fallon, describing the two men as "congenial guys you want to hang out with at the end of the day."
Iron Man 3 executive producer/star Jon Favreau said he finds Meyers "totally, totally hilarious" and added that it will make him even more eager to appear in the future on Late Night and The Tonight Show. "It's going to be so much fun to do those shows. So guys, if a guest ever drops out, I'll jump on a plane - I'll be there for you guys."
