'New Girl' Cast Dishes on Tonight's Season Finale

Tonight marks the season two finale of Fox hit New Girl, and ET caught up with the show's stars Max Greenfield, Zooey Deschanel and Jake Johnson Monday at the FOX Upfronts, where they dished on the episode which promises to settle some burning questions on the show's still up-in-the-air romances.

Johnson confirmed that there will be a definitive choice made on the Nick-and-Jess romance that has kept viewers on the edge of their seat this season, and said that the show will tackle it in their signature hilarious way.

"It's a funny episode, and it kinds of ends a lot of stories nicely," he revealed. "I think the writers did a good job with it."

"[There's] a lot of hijinks," Deschanel joked.

And can we expect more Merritt Wever, who's quickly become a fan favorite for her performance as Schmidt's comfortable-in-her-own skin college girlfriend Elizabeth?

"She's fantastic," Greenfield said about Wever, confirming that there is potential for one of the show's central couplings -- Schmidt and CeCe (Hannah Simone) -- not actually ending up together.
