In the clip, Kimora, a former model who now heads a fashion empire, gives some sound advice to the girls and shares her own personal story of getting discovered by legendary Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.

"I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, nobody looked like me. ... My whole life was where do I fit in, and how do I fit in?," she recalls. "I was discovered at 13 by Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel and that was my big break. But it took someone like Karl to say, 'No, no, no this girl, even though she's different than everyone else, she's a little wiry' -- I was taller than everyone else, I looked really different -- 'She's the face of the future, the 21st century.'"
