Singer, actress and Chief Creative Officer of NUVOtv, Jennifer Lopez, sat down with ET to dish on the re-launch of America's first English-language cable network for Latinos.
With so many things already on her plate, J. Lo admitted to us that her initial interest in NUVOtv didn't include such an involved position.

"[The first meeting] was about finding great programming for this very special channel," said J. Lo. "And then I think the chemistry between us really worked."
"I bring a certain perspective," J. Lo continued. "Plus, my background kind of made me a perfect fit for this network."
The network is kicking off their re-launch on July 18 with the biographical documentary Jennifer Lopez: Her Life, Her Journey, offering a rare and personal look into J. Lo's life. The multi-hyphenated star admitted that "a lot has happened" for her in recent years.
"It was a really emotional journey," J. Lo said of the look back over her life thus far. "We delve in a little bit deeper, trying to find what it is that makes you make certain decisions."
Following the documentary is A Step Away -- the series that spotlights the dancers that toured with J. Lo last year, which J. Lo referred to as the "unsung heroes" literally one step away from the star.
"I started as a dancer," said J. Lo. "I know that struggle ... I don't think other people really know."
