Murder, sin and sizzling secrets are coming to ABC Sundays with the fall premiere of Betrayal, and the stars of the highly-anticipated new series sat down with ET to give viewers a sneak preview of all the drama!

"As a viewer you're going to be thinking 'Oh no!', Stuart Townsend predicts of the show's sticky storylines, wherein he and his co-star Hannah Ware embark on a steamy love affair destined to tear their powerful families apart and break the hearts of their unknowing spouses.

Though he expects their tryst "is not going to end well," he believes viewers will get a thrill out of watching the inevitable downfall.

"When they find out, if they find out, it's not going to be pretty. But that's kind of why we watch it, you know? We like to watch this oncoming car crash in a sense."
