Stars Join Wounded Warriors for Softball Classic

Celebrities including NCIS actor Brian Dietzen and CSI: Miami star Omar Benson Miller took to the ball field Sunday to join members of the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team, which travels the country competing against able-bodied opponents.

House of Cards star Sakina Jaffrey and Olympic gold medal distance swimmer Katie Ledecky also joined the third annual Wounded Warrior Celebrity Softball Classic, which took place in Washington D.C. after a regular MLB game between the Washington Nationals and Philadelphia Phillies.

"I'm coming
out to support these guys, but in reality it's given me the biggest
boost," said Dietzen, referring to members of the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. "It's amazing, if you want your dose of
inspiration, you just sit and talk with one of these guys."

"These guys are great, they're inspirational," said Omar Benson Miller, who emphasized that he jumped at the chance to get involved with the organization. "Any time that I feel a little too lazy to do anything, these guys are going to stick heavy in my memory." Omar Benson Miller
