Comedy Central Orders 3 More Seasons of Tosh.0

By

Comedy Central is putting a lot of faith in its popular web-farmed clip-show Tosh.0 as it has just ordered three additional seasons of the show, which will keep Daniel Tosh employed and cracking jokes at insane viral videos until at least 2016.

For those who haven't seen the show, it is a little like America's Funniest Home Videos mixed with the popular E! show The Soup. Comedian Daniel Tosh shows clips of viral videos, usually people getting badly hurt, and then mocks the videos.

However, a large portion of it is original content, including short sketches and "web redemptions" in which Tosh finds an unfortunate viral video star and gives them a chance to make up for whatever embarrassing thing that caused them to be internet famous.

Currently the show is in its fifth season. It has generated massive rating for Comedy Central, with an average 3 million viewers and a 2.2 rating in the demo. Tosh.0 airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on Comedy Central.
