Nicole Richie’s AOL Web series #CandidlyNicole was not only successful, it was also incredibly entertaining! Now the 32-year-old is taking her show and her antics to the TV screen in her new reality series on VH1, premiering July 17.&

TV and the entertainment industry is nothing new for the mother-of-two. Not only did she co-star in The Simple Life with Paris Hilton from 2003 to 2007, but her father Lionel Richie is a music icon. So, will he appear on the show this time around? And if so, did she have to convince him to come on?

“Convince him?” she joked. “I tell him there's going to be a camera crew and he'll be there in 2 seconds.”

When Lionel does show up, she calls him out for playing favorites between herself and her 15-year-old sister Sofia.

But Nicole isn’t only candid in conversation, she also gets a little raunchy in her tweets from time to time.
