Now that Jenny McCarthy has said goodbye to The View—it's time to talk about her potential co-host replacements.
Many reports surfaced today that the new co-hosts of The View have been selected, however sources inside ABC are telling us that these rumors are completely untrue, and that the network has yet to make any kind of decision.
On Thursday, Entertainment Tonight exclusively reported that nine potential hosts were selected to participate in a chemistry test for the new panel of The View. And now we've got the inside scoop on which women are the clear front-runners to fill the vacant spots that McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd are leaving behind.

Although there are speculations that October Gonzalez, wife of football player and CBS sports analyst Tony Gonzalez, as well as political commentator Nicolle Wallace have won the spots, insiders are telling us that all signs are pointing to CNN's legal analyst Sunny Hostin.
Hostin has already appeared on The View several times, and we're told that if she is selected to join the hit series next season, she will still continue to report for CNN as well.
ABC has roughly five weeks to get their cast worked out before the new season premieres on Monday, September 15.
