For starters, Scott Bakula plays special agent Dwayne Pride. For NCIS fans, he's basically the Mark Harmon of the cast.

"The difference is I'm probably more likely to get out of line than [my team]," said Bakula.

Lucas Black (who plays special agent Christopher LaSalle) is Bakula's trusty sidekick (think Anthony DiNozzo), while Zoe McLellan plays the hard-nosed special agent Brody.

Perhaps the biggest difference that sets NCIS: New Orleans apart from the other shows in the NCIS franchise is the location. The swamps, the French Quarter and cemeteries provide plenty of spooky storylines.

NCIS: New Orleans debuts September 23 at 9/8c on CBS.
