Scandal star Kerry Washington accepted Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon's challenge to play "Box of Lies," but he didn't know who he was dealing with when he made this offer.

How the game works is both players must take turns trying to stump each other about what item is hidden inside their mystery boxes. Washington started out the game by choosing a pumpkin bowl filled with spaghetti from box No. 4.

Wearing the white hat so-to-speak (Scandal reference), Washington decided to tell the truth. Unfortunately for Fallon, he didn't believe the 37-year-old new mom and she got a point. Turns out, this actress has a pretty good poker face.

The late-night host then tried to fool Washington into thinking he had an iPhone 6 in his box, but she's not falling for that!
