Now, he's back on the FOX show that gave him his big break, and serving as guest judge while Keith Urban is away.

Lambert is also planning to release a new album this summer and told Billboard magazine that his fans may not expect this sound. "I wanted something more internal and more grounded," he said. "A little less with the theatrical and the camp and the presentation. I wanted to bring it in a bit more."
