While fans eagerly await Game of Thrones’ fifth season, they can bide their time with an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip from the making of season 4.

GOT
costume designer Michele Clapton and Natalie Dormer explain the intricate detail and runway-ready appeal of the clothes worn in the show, particularly in the famous Purple Wedding scene.

“The wedding dress is a piece of haute couture,” Dormer says of Margaery Tyrell’s bridal outfit. “It’s stunning and it deserves to be on a catwalk.”

The dress was so popular that the episode’s director, Alex Graves, changed the shot to showcase Clapton’s design. “He never ever changed a shot for a costume designer before but because it looked so good he did,” Clapton says.

The clip comes from an exclusive Target Blu Ray/DVD extra, Silk, Leather & Chain Mail, which provides an in-depth look into all the intricately-designed costumes of season 4.

Game of Thrones
returns to HBO on Sunday, Apr. 12. The complete fourth season is available on Blu Ray/DVD on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
