The Bachelor host has been tapped to replace Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Terry Crews as the next host of the nationally-syndicated game show, a position originated by Regis Philbin and later held by Meredith Vieira and Cedric the Entertainer.
"There are few shows on television as strong and iconic as Millionaire," Harrison said in a statement. "This is a great fit and I’m extremely excited and honored to take on this new endeavor."
Harrison’s a good fit for the long-running Millionaire, which will begin its 14th season this fall. He’s hosted The Bachelor for 19 cycles on ABC as well as The Bachelorette and various related spin-offs and specials.
