It’s off to Lallybroch!

After an eventful few episodes, Jamie (Sam Heughan) brings Claire (Caitriona Balfe) back home for the first time – and his return to Lallybroch is about to reopen some painful old wounds. In ETonline’s exclusive sneak peek at Saturday’s episode, Jamie – now aware that she’s from the future – tries to explain to Claire her duty as the laird’s wife. (Clearly something happened that aroused suspicion.)

“I’m laird and you are my lady. We should both conduct ourselves as such,” Jamie tells Claire, who fires back with her own retort.

“I’m not the meek and obedient type,” she says firmly.

Jamie smirks at her response. “I don’t think anyone would make that mistake Sassenach,” he says with a twinkle in his eye.

See, people sometimes aren’t as they seem on the surface. Consider Colum’s loyal wife Letitia, who might not appear to be the strong and outspoken type at first. Jamie reminds Claire that “behind closed doors,” it’s a completely different story: She’s the boss.
