Blake Shelton is taking his divorce in stride.
The 39-year-old singer sat down with ET just days after announcing his divorce from his wife of four years, Miranda Lambert. In his hand: a red cup filled with ice and, in his words, "a little vodka."
"I thought I'd get it started early," he cracked off the cuff. "It's been one of those weeks."

Of course, Shelton has never been shy about enjoying a cocktail.
"Just got off the treadmill. This calls for a drink," Shelton tweeted on July 21, just after news of his split went public.
In our interview, sans wedding ring, Shelton seemed in good spirits, with his signature sense of humor fully intact. Asked at one point how he was doing, Shelton responded with a cheerful, "Well, I got divorced."
As the original purpose for the interview was to talk about The Voice, Shelton's buddy, Brad Paisley, joined him for the sit-down. The "Crushin' It" singer is helping Shelton mentor his team this season, which premieres Sept. 21 on NBC.
"I'm afraid he's going to take my job," Shelton joked.
"I need to be a little less professional maybe if I'm going to fit in," Paisley quipped, ribbing Shelton for the contents of his red cup.

But despite Shelton's playful demeanor, when it comes to working toward a fifth win on The Voice, he's all business.
"This is the team to get me there," Shelton said. "First of all, I want the trophy bad. They don't hire me to be on here to lose, you know what I'm saying? I want to win this thing every season and I want it for my kids that are on my team."
Back in April, Shelton co-hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards with Luke Bryan in Dallas, Texas. On the red carpet, the stars had a bit of fun predicting just how much Shelton would throw back by the night's end. See the shenanigans in the video below.
