'How to Get Away With Murder' Introduces a New Victim and a Mystery Man

How to Get Away With Murder
is full-speed ahead this season, as Annalise Keating (Emmy winner Viola Davis) and her team evade prosecution in the death of her husband Sam (Tom Verica), keep the murder of Rebecca (Katie Findlay) under wraps, and now tackle a new season-long case, defending the possibly-murderous, maybe-incestuous Hapstall siblings.

As always, Thursday’s episode, "She’s Dying," left us with more questions than answers. Here’s a look at a few of the newest HTGAWM headscratchers.

Who Is the New Mystery Man?

We knew it couldn’t be a coincidence that a mysterious hot guy came up to hit on Michaela (Aja Naomi King) and Connor (Jack Falahee) -- but mostly Michaela -- at the courthouse, we just didn’t know why until the same guy turned up in a photograph Wes (Alfred Enoch) found in Rebecca’s stuff. Who is he and what does he want with Annalise’s team?

Will Annalise Ever Find Love (With Someone She’s Not Totally Manipulating)?

As if hiring your ex-girlfriend (Famke Janssen) to defend the lover you framed for your husband’s murder wasn’t bad enough, Annalise had to take the stand this week, telling the prosecutor that she thought Nate (Billy Brown) killed Sam in order to deflect blame from herself. A.D.A. Emily Sinclair (Sarah Burns) was totally on to her, but spent too much time and effort making a case against Annalise instead of Nate, allowed the disgraced cop to go free.

While Annalise and Eve made up, spending one final night together before she returned to New York, all is still not well in Annalise’s love life. Nate was watching from his car as the two shared a goodbye kiss, proving that affair is far from over.

Who is Killing All These People?

While Thursday's episode delved deeper into the series' flash-forward -- revealing that Wes isn’t the only student at the Hapstall mansion the night Annalise gets shot -- it also added to the season’s body count. As Laurel (Karla Souza), Michaela, and Connor flee the scene before the police can arrive and discover Annalise bleeding out, they run past another dead body -- A.D.A. Sinclair.
