The Real Housewives of New York just lost another cast member.

One month after Heather Thomson announced her exit from the Bravo series, model Kristen Taekman tells ET that she is focusing her attention on family and work.

"My experience during my time on RHONY was fantastic and I made some great new friends," Taekman says. "At this time in my life, I have decided to concentrate on my family and my new business ventures Pop Of Color nail polish and Last Night's Look, my fashion blog. I will remain a Housewife and part of an amazing franchise forever and that is what is important."

Taekman stirred up waves when she first joined RHONY during season, getting involved in a water fight with Ramona Singer. Her second, and seemingly final, season proved less eventful.

While Taekman has announced her exit after two seasons, a source close to production confirms that Bethenny Frankel is back for season eight. She and returning housewife, Carole Radzwill, already started filming.

Frankel made a fiery return to the Bravo series for season seven, following her split from husband Jason Hoppy in 2012 and the cancelation of her self-titled talk show in 2014.
