"At some point in the near future, it will come up again," the showrunner coyly teased to ET. "It's not going to immediately, but we certainly have not forgotten about it."

When we caught up with Bialik and Parsons on the Big Bang set, the co-stars were cracking up about a potential Shamy engagement. "Clearly, Amy didn't need a ring to get into the sack!" Bialik exclaimed through a fit of giggles.

"That's true," Parsons added with a smile. "You know, you don't buy the cow, when the milk is for free."

All jokes aside, Parsons revealed the he never says "never" when it comes to Sheldon, so another Big Bang wedding is definitely possible.

"I would say no, but I didn't think that we'd be filming what we're filming now," Parsons said referencing Sheldon and Amy's bedroom rendezvous. "So what do I know? [Sheldon and Amy] may have a child next week. I have no idea!"

The one thing we know for sure is that Sheldon and Amy's relationship is now stronger than ever. "This episode was a huge step for them, but at the same time, they are still very much Sheldon and Amy," Molaro explained. "I think they're as close as ever and I think this breakup really helped solidify their relationship but I don’t expect any huge changes in their dynamic."

The EP continued, "I think it's been an amazing ride for them so far and I think there's a lot more to come for them. They've shared this intimate moment, but they still have years and years of learning about each other and loving each other more to come."
