Hopefully it’s not too confusing for the 33-year-old actor, who’s spent the last decade calling his on-screen brother, Jensen Ackles, by the same first name on The CW thriller Supernatural. Gotta say, the grown-up scruff is a good look for Rory Gilmore’s (Alexis Bledel) dreamy first boyfriend!
All three of Rory’s major love interests -- Dean (Padalecki), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia), and Logan (Matt Czuchry) -- are now confirmed to return for the revival series, which will consist of four 90-minute episodes. No word, however, on which one might have Rory’s heart after all these years.
Ventimiglia shared his own shot from the revival series on Feb. 10, posting a picture of his script with the hashtag, “#JessIsBack.”
The boys join a slew of returning cast members from the original series, including Bledel, Lauren Graham, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Yanic Truesdale, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Danny Strong, David Sutcliffe, and more. Series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband, Dan Palladino, will write and direct all four episodes.
The Gilmore Girls revival series is set to debut on Netflix in 2016.
