It would certainly be a treat.

Is Michelle Obama dropping by Netflix’s Gilmore Girls revival?

The first lady shared a Snapchat photo of her and Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore) seemingly rehearsing a scene at the White House on Wednesday, while holding a box of Pop Tarts.

FLOTUS included the less-than-cryptic caption, “It’s Rory! More coming soon…”

Obama, 52, also posted two videos to Snapchat -- which she joined just 24 hours ago -- teasing Bledel’s trip to Washington, D.C.

“I’m back at the White House!” Bledel adorably says in one of the Snapchat videos.

While all signs seemed to be pointing to a Gilmore Girls cameo for Obama, that doesn't appear to be the case. Bummer!

"Michelle Obama is not in Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life," a Netflix rep told ET. "It was just something fun Alexis did to support the launch of Michelle's Snapchat channel and her Let Girls Learn initiative."

“Today, in an effort to create content highlighting the first lady’s Snapchat account ahead of her Let Girls Learn trip, Alexis Bledel participated in a Gilmore Girls-themed taping with the first lady at the White House, Stay tuned for more content to be released in the coming days," Joanna Rosholm, press secretary for Obama, told ET.

ET has reached out to Bledel's rep for comment.

An Obama cameo would have been fitting for the reboot, as  Rory landed a job at an online newspaper covering then-Senator Barack Obama’s presidential campaign in the 2007 finale of the beloved WB series.

Obama has been Snapchatting up a storm since joining the social media app. On Tuesday, the first lady shared several behind-the-scenes videos with The Late Late Show host James Corden as they taped the popular late-night segment, “Carpool Karaoke.”
