'Married at First Sight' Alums Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner Are Expecting A Baby

Another first for Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner!

The formerMarried at First Sight contestants, who are still together two years after going on the FYI reality show, are expecting a child together, the couple confirms to ET.

"Doug and I are beyond thrilled to be pregnant," Jamie tells ET. "We went through a lot of ups and downs, but going through the hard times only made us stronger."

While the couple collided at times on the show over whether to have a baby, Jamie adds that taking the time to focus on "building our love, friendship and relationship," was ultimately the right call.

"Doug had a crazy pre-baby bucket list," she shares. "He wanted to swim with sharks, sky dive, go on a 'real' ghost hunt -- crazy things that I'd never do. But I wanted to conquer his dreams with him."

"I wanted to grow closer to him," the reality star adds. "Most importantly, I wanted him to feel READY to be a dad before we got pregnant."

After the couple did everything on the bucket list, she says. "Doug asked me to start trying for a baby. Two months later we found out we were pregnant!"

Clearly, the journey from the altar to the ultrasound has been a rewarding one for Jamie and Doug!

Meanwhile, Jamie's new memoir, WIFEY 101: Everything I Got Wrong After Finding Mr. Right, is out now.

The TV personality's husband also celebrated the news via Instagram on Tuesday, writing, "#BabyHehner says hello! @jamienotis & I thank all of you for the love and support, and couldn't be happier to share the news the we are pregnant!"
