Hairspray Live!is still weeks away, but we already have a look at the cast in full wardrobe!

NBC's upcoming live musical released a trailer on Monday, featuring Ariana Grande, Derek Hough, Jennifer Hudson, Martin Short, Harvey Fierstein and newcomer Maddie Baillio, giving a preview of what fans can expect from the holiday event.

This follows the release of the first cast photo, which hit Instagram last month.

From the clip, it's clear the cast has chemistry, and with an ensemble that also includes Kristin Chenoweth, Garrett Clayton, Rosie O'Donnell and Sean Hayes, audiences are sure to be singing along with the broadcast. Even Baillio (who stars in the iconic role of Tracy Turnblad) admitted to being star struck on the set during a conference call with reporters on Monday.

"I am still such a big fangirl of everyone," Baillio gushed. "Garrett [who will play Link Larkin] has to remind me every day that these are just people. The first Broadway show I saw was Wicked. That was a big deal for me, and when I fell in love with musical theater. Kristin Chenoweth is playing my arch nemesis, so that's insane. Jennifer Hudson is singing to my face, and I'm getting really excited just thinking about it."

During an exclusive sit-down on the ET stage earlier this month, past Turnblads, Ricki Lake and Marissa Jaret Winokur, also revealed their excitement about the show.

"When I see Hairspray on TV, I will stop and watch," admitted Lake, who made the role famous in the 1988 movie. "It's just a part of my history and my life, so it's a flattering thing to see it in all these incarnations. It's amazing."

Winokur won a Tony award for her performance in the Broadway musical adaptation in 2003, and she looked back on her honest acceptance speech.

"I was like, 'For a short, chubby girl to be an ingénue on Broadway and win a Tony for it was like ... It's not given to us every day,'" she said.

Hairspray Live! airs Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
