EXCLUSIVE: 'Vanderpump Rules' Star Stassi Schroeder Breaks Down Over Breakup and Talks Dating Again
By Brice Sander
Here come the waterworks.
ET has your exclusive first look at Monday night’s all-new episode of Vanderpump Rules, which finds Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Katie Maloney and Scheana Shay in Montauk, NY, for Stassi’s 28th birthday celebration.
The SUR gang meets up with the cast of Bravo’s new series, Summer House, for a beach party -- but things take a semi-dramatic turn when someone asks Stassi about her relationship status.
“I’m going through a very recent breakup right now,” Stassi confesses. “I’ll start crying if we all talk about it.”
And burst into tears she does -- just not on the beach. In a taped confessional, the reality star gets emotional discussing the official end of her on-again, off-again relationship with radio personality Patrick Meagher.
“It’s really hard, because my family really likes Patrick, and my friends like him, too,” she shares. “I’m used to people just being like, ‘Your boyfriend’s an a**hole.’ So, what happens if I wake up a year from now and I’m like, ‘That was a f**king huge mistake to breakup?’”
The action then heads back to the beach, where Stassi’s dating life continues to be a hot topic.
“I was on, like, a dating app and I literally -- I feel like I could barely, like, ‘like’ one person,” she announces.
That’s when Summer House star Carl Radke gets flirty with Stassi, calling her out for even trying an app.
“You don’t need it,” he tells her.
“Stassi needs some tough love,” Katie notes in an interview. “She needs to sack up and hop in the sack. She doesn’t need to go that far, but maybe, like, a hand on the boob or, like, an OTP HJ, which is an over-the-pant hand job.”
Katie pulls Stassi aside to see if she’s interested in anyone at the party, and Stassi admits she would normally go for a guy like Carl -- but won’t this time.
“You know when you have, like, a bad sense of direction?" she says. "You always go the wrong way. So, go the opposite way.”
Stassi sets her sights on Carl’s Summer House co-star, Kyle Cooke, but we’ll have to wait and see if any sparks fly between the Bravo-lebrities. Vanderpump Rules airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, and Summer House premieres next Monday, Jan. 16, at 10 p.m. ET.
