In December, ET spoke with executive producer Sanaa Hamri following theEmpire fall finale, which saw Jamal (Jussie Smollett) heading to rehab, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) discovering a deep-seeded secret in Angelo’s (Taye Diggs) past and Andre (Trai Byers) revealing his deadly plan to kill Lucious (Terrence Howard).

“He’s extremely calculated and smart, so I fear for Lucious’ life because I know that Andre is going to follow through,” Hamri said of Andre’s fatal plan. “It makes sense that he wants to kill Lucious and he’s going to do whatever he can to achieve that goal.”
