“We don't have to check with them, we're grown-ups.”
Brandi Glanville admits she and Dean Sheremet didn’t check in with their famous exes, Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes, before teaming up for Fox’s new celebrity cooking competition, My Kitchen Rules.
ET’s Leanne Aguilera spoke with the pair, who became friends after Cibrian and Rimes’ 2009 affair, at Fox’s Television Critics Association event in Pasadena, California, on Wednesday.

“When they came to me with the show, I thought what better partner for this than Dean?” Glanville shares. “Duh, right?”
“Partners in crime,” Sheremet adds. “Kitchen crime.”
The Fox series finds stars, including Lance Bass and his mother, and Brandy Norwood and her brother, Ray J, teaming up to out-cook each other at dinner parties. It premieres Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET.
“You have two alphas in the kitchen together, so we were competitive not with everyone else, but ourselves as well, which was interesting to say the least,” Sheremet confesses.
“He thought he was the boss of me, and nobody is the boss of me,” Glanville jokes about their partnership.
“There's only room for one head chef of the kitchen,” Sheremet notes.

The competition promises to get real, with Glanville and Sheremet seemingly finding drama with Brandy and Ray J.
“It's crazy,” Glanville says. “It's like Housewives with food.”
Speaking of Housewives, Glanville picked which of her former co-stars she would invite over for a dinner party: Yolanda Hadid, Carlton Gebbia and Kim Richards.
“[Kim’s] awesome,” Glanville gushes. “We make dinner all the time. We're neighbors. We live really close to one another, so we're always cooking together.”
Richards made her big return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this week. Learn all about it in the video below.
