Kelly Ripa would like to clarify something.
The Live! With Kelly host had husband of over 20 years, Mark Consuelos, on the program this week, where she walked back some stir-causing comments she made last week that he was sometimes "mean" after sex.
"I'm sorry! I was joking," the 46-year-old TV personality shared. "This is a funny, irreverent show. I didn't realize that it would become trending news."

"I didn't refute it because I thought it was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard," said Ripa's husband, 45, revealing that he laughed it off at the time the comment was made.
"To set the record straight that no one can be mean after something if they are unconscious," Consuelos added. "I sleep."
"That's what I meant," Ripa responded. "Completely disinterested, like, sound asleep."

"How about satisfied and just happy?" the actor sweetly replied.
Before their couples TV appearance, Consuelos shared on Instagram, "As you can tell @kellyripa is super excited I'm cohosting tomorrow AM."
Well, we're glad to have everything cleared up.

Meanwhile, at the end of last year, Ripa shared a photo of the couple's 19-year-old son, Michael, who looks JUST like his dad.
