ET spoke with Goldberg at the GLAAD Media Awards in New York City in May, where she said that she'd be at The View "for as long as I need to be."

"This new administration's so inept, [it] makes it hard to walk away," she shared. "But, you know, the women are good and the table is settled and, you know, it'll be fine. It'll all be fine."

"We have to just pay better attention to what's happening in the Congress and the Senate," she added of the show's political focus throughout season 20. "And if we can do that, we can sort of balance it, so that real people actually get taken care of."

Goldberg joined The View's 11th season in 2007. Season 21, which starts in early September, marks her 10th anniversary with the show.
