Talk about a warm -- and kind of intense -- reception!

ET has your exclusive first look at this week’s The Real Housewives of New York City, which opens with Tinsley Mortimer getting some help from housekeeping to make her hotel room/apartment look perfect. Just after she walks the housekeeper out, someone knocks on her door. Naturally, Tinsley opens the door, only to throw herself on the ground! It wasn’t the housekeeper coming back to the room: it was her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Scott Kluth!

“Oh my god!” she screams. “Oh my god. Are you kidding me right now? Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.”

Tinsley gets up and latches herself onto Scott, starting to cry, telling him, “This is so crazy!”

“I am so shocked,” she shares in a confessional. “I have not seen him for two and a half months. This is the best surprise I have ever had.”

The sometimes couple then take a quick second to catch up before Scott asks her to fly back to Chicago with him that night. Without hesitation, Tinsley says, yes, which means she’ll have to miss out on shopping with co-star Ramona Singer -- and she’s passing the message along through Carole Radziwill. Tinsley calls up her pal to share the news of Scott’s arrival. Reminder, Carole’s the one who set them up in the first place!

“Scott came to town!” she tells her on the phone. “I’m, like, freaking out.”

“Well, I have to say I was kind of a little bit in on it,” Carole reveals. “He was nervous, so he called me and I plotted a little bit.”

You’ll have to tune into The Real Housewives of New York City on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo to see what happens next. For more on the new season of the show, check out the links and video below.
