The pair married on Jan. 13 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Cassie DiLaura and Brett Lazar did not hesitate when it came to having the wedding ceremony of their dreams.

The ET correspondent and the entrepreneur said their "I dos" on Jan. 13., in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, at The Cape Hotel in front of 65 of their closest friends and family.

The location was love at first sight after seeing it on social media.

"Brett and I had no connection to Cabo originally, but we saw another wedding at The Cape on social media and we loved how beautiful and fun it looked," DiLaura tells ET. "Call us crazy, but we actually booked the venue without even seeing it in person first. When we went for our site visit later down the road, it was everything we hoped for and more."

She added, "The resort felt very intimate, which is what we wanted for our wedding. The views from the rooftop were spectacular and the food is to die for. That was one of my favorite parts about our wedding."

DiLaura wore her dream dress, the Pepa dress from Neta Dover’s Couture 2023, which she purchased from àLouise Bridal in San Diego, California. The sleeveless corseted dress, which is an "ode to romance," was made with layers of silk tulle with hand-beaded lace.

The bride walked down the aisle to the violin version of  "Can't Help Falling in Love," in shoes by Bella Belle.

In one very special nod to her late grandmother, DiLaura added the same pearl detailing to the back of the dress that her late grandmother had on her wedding day. For her something borrowed, her beautiful veil was the one her best friend of 20 years wore for her wedding in 2022.

DiLaura's glam was by her longtime friend and makeup artist, Annētta McBain. The day before the wedding, the bride's longtime friend and hairstylist, Samantha Proffer, added highlights which shined through her updo. Ahead of the big day, DiLaura worked on her glowing skin (in the year leading up to the wedding) with BBL & Moxi laser treatments done by Rena Shamoon at Rochester Beauty Bar in Michigan and Cheryl Burns at Dr. Adrian Yi in L.A.

As for the wedding party, which was made up of DiLaura and Lazar's siblings, the women (her new sisters-in-law) wore black silk dresses and the men wore black suits.

For the cuteness factor, Lazar's nieces and DiLaura's cousins, who served as the flower girls, twirled like princesses in little matching dresses by Azazie and matching pearls by George the Jeweler.

The wedding was officiated by Lazar's father.

Lazar and DiLaura opted for a non-traditional ceremony, which was a combination of modern and boho chic. In stepping away from the traditional aspects of a ceremony, the bride and groom opted for more candles than flowers, and instead of a sweetheart table, they chose to have a head table where their family members could join them. Like their stationary and wedding invitations, the menu and place cards were done by Minted.

There were no first looks, flower toss or extravagant entrance.

"We kept it a bit low-key, but that's just us," she shared.

For the guests' seating, the pair had round tables surrounding an open area where everyone could dance.

The first dance was to Kacey Musgraves’ version of "Can't Help Falling in Love," which holds a special place in the couple's heart.

"The first time Brett and I heard the rendition was during a road trip to Las Vegas and we both were brought to tears," DiLaura said. "It was the same song that was playing when we got engaged as well, so it was a pretty full-circle, beautiful, emotional moment."

DiLaura had the perfect song for her father-daughter dance, "Little Bird" by the Jonas Brothers, which was followed by an "insane" surprise fireworks set.

Making another nod to her grandmother -- and Lazar's father -- their violinist, Gerardo Diaz, played their favorite song, "Over the Rainbow."

DJ Néstor Morales by DJ Co. kept the party going and got the guests and newlyweds on the dance floor with country hits, Motown and obviously DiLaura's faves, the Jonas Brothers.

In one major twist, the pair did not have a wedding cake. Instead (and it was a non-negotiable), they celebrated with a churro station.

The couple's romance began in 2018 when they met through a celebrity psychic medium, who said that he saw gold rings over their heads following their introduction. From there, they kept in touch, and eventually grabbed drinks in 2019. After reconnecting in 2021, during the pandemic, they got engaged in 2022.

Lazar kept the engagement intimate. However, knowing DiLaura's love for the JoBros, they hopped in a limo for a celebration at the Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York, where Kevin and Danielle Jonas tied the knot.

"I am an OG Jonas Brothers fan, so I thought that was such a sweet touch," she revealed.
