Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka Spark Breakup Rumors After 7 Years of Dating: Here's Why

The pair began their relationship in 2016.

Mariah Carey may no longer be calling Bryan Tanaka baby!

It appears the GRAMMY-winning singer and the creative director may have ended their relationship after seven years together.

Rumors of their split came as Carey, 54, embarked on her annual Christmas trip, sans Tanaka -- who has been in attendance every year since they began their relationship.

Traditionally, Carey and her 12-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan (whom she shares with Nick Cannon), travel to Aspen for the holiday.

Tanaka, who previously danced for the "All I Want for Christmas Is You" singer, was also absent from her Merry Christmas One and All tour, which began in November and ended last weekend.

ET has reached out to Carey's rep for comment.

The love also appears to be lost on social media. Tanaka hasn't appeared on the Queen of Christmas' IG grid since last year, when she shared a picture of him during their holiday getaway.

Carey was last seen on the former dancer's page in March, when he celebrated her birthday.

"This is one of my favorite pictures. Ever. Happy Anniversary my Beautiful Queen. 🦋3/27🦋❤️," he wrote at the time.

Carey and Tanaka began working together professionally in 2006, when he was a dancer. A decade later, the pair began their relationship following Carey's split from billionaire James Packer.

The two turned heads as they were spotted showing off PDA during a beachy Thanksgiving vacation, and again as they traveled to NYC. Their romance played out on Carey's short-lived reality TV series, Mariah's World

Tanaka and Carey briefly ended their relationship in 2017 (after an intense St. Patrick's Day fight) but quickly rekindled their romance.

Tanaka's absence won't affect the holiday season, though, as Carey is spending it with her children. In November, the "Honey" singer dished about her plans with her preteens to ET.

"I'm spending it with my kids and some friends and we'll be in Aspen," the singer told ET, adding that the family will be back in their sleigh for a ride. "Santa's coming over as well. You think I'm lying, but it's true! That is my homie and so he's gonna be coming over."
