At the 83rd Academy Awards, The King's Speech was crowned Best Picture of the Year, beating out nine other nominees: Black Swan, The Fighter, Inception, The Kids Are All Right, 127 Hours, The Social Network, Toy Story 3, True Grit and Winter's Bone. That film's king, Colin Firth, was named Best Actor, while pregnant Black Swan princess Natalie Portman was named Best Actress.

The 85th Academy Awards will air live from Hollywood on Oscar Sunday, February 24, 2013 on ABC.
