Sounds like Jimmy Kimmel's a fan of The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story!
The Jimmy Kimmel Live host devoted part of his Emmys opening monologue to the smash hit FX miniseries, including taking a friendly dig at Marcia Clark -- the lead prosecutor in the real-life O.J. Simpson murder trial -- who attended the awards show as Sarah Paulson's guest.
"Sarah Paulson brought Marcia Clark as a guest," Kimmel noted. "As everyone in L.A. knows, if you wanna win, sit next to Marcia Clark."
Paulson gave Kimmel a thumbs down, sticking up for the famous attorney she portrays on the show.
"Are you rooting for O.J. to win this time?" Kimmel hilariously added.
And thankfully, Clark was able to laugh off the teasing.
Paulson is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, and the show trailed only Game of Thrones for most nominations, with 22.
