Oh baby, baby, Blake Lively loves Britney Spears.

After turning heads in a beaded Atelier Versace gown during the Met Gala red carpet, the 30-year-old actress switched things up by wearing a sparkly Versace plaid mini skirt with matching thigh-high boots and a white button-up. Her sexy after-party look was actually inspired by the "Baby One More Time" singer, according to Lively.

"The only reason we went to after-parties was so we could just change clothes," the former Gossip Girl star told Vanity Fair earlier this week. "The theme was Catholic . . . the [red carpet look] was more historic, you gotta do a Catholic schoolgirl [for the after-party]. Any way I can get Britney woven in. There’s actually a funny picture with me and [director] Reed [Morano], we look like a Britney tribute show. I look like ‘Baby One More Time’ Britney, and she’s ‘Circus’ Britney. You know when they do the [Britney] tribute shows, and there’s the different Britneys?”

On Friday night, Lively actually shared the picture she was talking about on her Instagram.

"When you and your date look like a full on Britney tribute show..." the fashionista captioned the fashionable snap.

At the Met Gala, The Shallows actress also made sure to pay tribute to her family, husband Ryan Reynolds and their two daughters, 3-year-old James and 1-year-old Ines, with her accessories. Her sparkling custom-made handbag from Monday's event featured the family name and everyone's initials.

The Met Gala was filled with many sinful and exquisite looks. See more in the video below.
