Demi Lovato praises Kim Kardashian.

Demi Lovato is as confident as can be these days, though of course it hasn't always been that way for the 22-year-old former Disney star, who's been open about struggling with bulimia and drug addiction in the past.

In a new interview with Allure magazine for their January cover, Demi shares what makes her feel sexy, and reveals the surprising source behind her new-found body confidence.

"What makes me feel sexy is being able to rock no makeup wherever I go, also, wearing pants or skirts that show off my beautiful assets," she smiles. "It's my butt. I love my butt. Hopefully it stays that way, because this isn't going anywhere."

And who does she have to thank for loving her curves? None other than the bootylicious Kim Kardashian.

"I learned to accept my body when the trend started becoming less about super, super skinny models that was completely unattainable for anybody to have," she explains. "Kim Kardashian -- say whatever you want about her -- but she has revolutionized what's accepted with curves nowadays."

Demi is the picture of confidence during the Allure photoshoot, pulling off a bold undercut and teal locks. She also wears no foundation, and lets her flawless skin shine thanks to her barely-there makeup for the edgy photos.

"I do have a regimen and I stick to it," she says about achieving her blemish-free face. "No matter how tired I am, I always take my makeup off before I go to sleep. I always wash my face, use a toner, sometimes a serum if I need some extra love. Then I wear a really thick night cream. I just listen to my skin."
