Season 8, episode 5 was an even bigger battle than the one at Winterfell.
The end is here on Game of Thrones.
Just one episode of the epic HBO series remains, as its penultimate episode aired on Sunday. With the Battle of Winterfell behind our favorite characters, the fight has officially shifted to the one for the Iron Throne -- and it's a bloody one.
During a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, star Emilia Clarke said that what was ahead at King's Landing -- especially after the killing of Rhaegal and Cersei's execution of Missandei -- would be even "bigger."
"[The next episodes] are going to be mental," Clarke teased. "Episode five is bigger. Episode five is Ahhhh. I mean, four and five and six, they're all insane, but… Find the biggest TV you can."
Sunday's episode kicked off with Varys' death by dragon fire, and Dany's rage proved to cause the endpoint for several other characters. Euron, Jaime, Cersei, The Hound, The Mountain and Qyburn are all presumed dead by the end of the 80-minute episode.
