J.J. Abrams: 'Ghost Protocol' Will be Biggest 'Mission: Impossible' Yet

A veritable bevy of Hollywood's finest were in attendance to the CBS TCAs Wednesday night, and amidst the flurry, we caught up with J.J. Abrams for a much anticipated update on his upcoming project, 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol'.

Serving as producer for the newest installment in the 'Mission: Impossible' series, the genius behind 'Super 8,' 'Lost' and "Fringe" tells ET 'Ghost Protocol' will be "by far the biggest 'Mission Impossible' yet."

"Tom Cruise did a number of stunts on the tallest building in the world outside the building for six days in a row. I cannot honestly believe the insurance company let him do, but they did. The story is great. It's fun, I think it's going to be a really fun movie. I'm excited."

The film will be helmed by Brad Bird, director of 'The Incredibles' and ' Ratatouille.' 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' will be Bird's first ever live action feature.

The cast of "NCIS" was also in attendance to the big CBS event. The crew of the highly popular series is currently filming season nine, and seeing as the close of season eight left some major cliffhangers, "NCIS" fans have a lot of questions to be answered.

"I'm getting hounded on Twitter and the street everywhere," exclaims Pauley Perrette. "'What's in the envelope?!' We're the last people to know. That's in all the smart people/writer's hands."

Cote De Pablo says to expect a whole lot of DiNozzo in the upcoming season. "I'm not going to give it all away but it's really good and it's really interesting. It's DiNozzo heavy, which I love!"
