'The Defenders'

You can't find Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage, The Defenders, The Punisher or The Iron Fist on Netflix anymore, but that doesn't mean you can't stream your favorite Defenders. Now, you can rewatch all the Marvel Defenders shows and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on Disney+.

Since Marvel is part of the Disney family now, Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Danny Rand, Daisy Johnson and the rest of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents finally get to join the rest of the Marvel universe on Disney's streaming service. (It appears that Disney+ is collecting Marvel titles like infinity stones — just for a much more benevolent purpose than Thanos.)

Slowly integrating Marvel shows and movies to Disney+ makes it easier for fans to catch up with their favorite characters on one streaming service. As Disney Streaming President Michael Paull tells IndieWire, "...the addition of these live-action shows brings more from the Marvel brand together, all in one place."

It isn't uncommon for corporations to reclaim their intellectual properties and air them on their own streaming services. Take the Star Trek franchise for example. Because Paramount Pictures owns Star Trek, a few of the namesake shows started the migration from Netflix to the Paramount+ streaming service in 2021.

Charlie Cox portrays Matt Murdock, who is a lawyer by day and a crime-fighting vigilante known as Daredevil by night. Watch the titular character take on new challenges only on the Disney+ streaming service.

Watch Danny Rand (portrayed by Finn Jones) navigate a whirlwind journey from plane crash survivor to warrior in-training turned superhero.

Watch Luke Cage (portrayed Mike Colter) reclaim his life after he was a part of a failed experiment, which gave his super strength, unbreakable skin and a way to become a superhero.

Watch Krysten Rittler as Jessica Jones, a retired superhero who finds more and more reasons to come out of retirement.

Have you ever wondered what Phil Coulson and his team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents do when they aren't rallying the Avengers together or cleaning up the aftermath of an alien invasion? Well, you can find out on Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

Watch some like-minded superheroes, such as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, band together to save and protect New York City.

In the series, Frank Castle (portrayed by Jon Bernthal) becomes a vigilante and takes on the Punisher moniker to avenge his loved ones, as well as citizens of New York City.
