Jason Momoa is traveling in search of something great. ET is exclusively premiering the trailer for On the Roam, the 44-year-old actor's cinematic docuseries in which travels the country chasing art, adventure and friendship through the lens of craftsmanship.

"I'm through and through just a roamer," Momoa says in the trailer. "I love moving, hunting for places and moments. Every day has its little beauty. You've just got to have the right set of eyes."

As he visits craftsmen who work on century old bikes, choppers, instruments and more, he explains, "One of the greatest things about being on the road is you get to meet those craftsmen, artists that are your inspirations. Being able to see their workshops, you get to be in their world, the world that they created."

"There's a certain satisfaction you get out of using your hands. I love these artists. I love that they're making it out of a backyard. I love showing the world what you can do," he says. "It's all my heart. You're literally watching everything that I love. Life is short. I want to do this."

Throughout the series, Momoa will meet one of his top creative inspirations, renowned photographer, Todd Hido, introduce viewers to the craftsmen that create the details behind the characters he plays, embark upon the adventure of rebuilding a 1920s Rolls Royce Phantom, and more.

Beginning Jan. 18 on MAX, the eight-episode series will debut two episodes weekly leading up to the season finale on Feb. 8.
