Jenny Mollen's 5-Year-Old Son Fractures His Skull After She Accidentally Drops Him on His Head

The mother of two said her son is 'recovering nicely.'

Jenny Mollen is thankful her and husband Jason Biggs' son is safe and sound after a scary incident.

On Wednesday, the 39-year-old actress took to Instagram to reveal that, over the weekend, she dropped her 5-year-old son, Sid, on the head, "causing him to fracture his skull and landing him in the ICU." The couple also share 1-year-old Lazlo.

"I am forever grateful to Lenox hill downtown and @nyphospital for their immediate response and aid," she wrote alongside a pic of her holding her son in her lap. "Thank you to all of the nurses, neurologists, pediatricians, residents, cafeteria staff and brave women that keep the visitor‘s bathrooms clean. Not sure how this post turned into an Oscars acceptance speech...

She went on to thank her husband, writing: "But @biggsjason Thank god for you! Thank god, thank god, thank god."

Mollen called the experience "traumatic," but said that Sid "is home now taking things slowly and recovering nicely."

"He is also eating a lot of chocolate dipped ice cream cones and plans to try cherry dipped soon," she quipped. "My heart goes out to all parents who have or will ever find themselves in this kind of position. You are not alone..."

Mollen received support from many celebs in the comments, many of whom, including Claire Holt, Rachel Bilson and Elan Gale, posted emojis to show their love. Krysten Ritter also sent her love in the comments, calling the story "so scary."

"Oh my god Jenny that is so scary and I'm so sorry you guys are going through this," she wrote. "Fast recovery for Sid! Sending love."

Mollen frequently posts about mom life on Instagram, though she never shows her sons' faces. She most recently put up a snap of the siblings lying on top of each other along with a hilarious "mom hack."

"If you feel spread thin and like you aren’t giving equal attention to both of your children, try pressing them together to make one giant kid and enjoy!" Mollen quipped.

Other recent posts include her holding her son while getting her hair done, one of her children playing and another photo of her son at the park.
