Talk about plum perfect!

On Wednesday, Katie Holmes stepped out with designer Zac Posen on her arm to attend the Brooks Brothers Bicentennial Celebration in New York City, donning a fitted eggplant-hued gown from her designer pal that featured floral embroidery.

At first, the 39-year-old actress added a matching half-jacket to the look before taking it off to show the gown’s stunning detailing along the neckline and bust.

The Dawson’s Creek alum looked fit and fab in the dress, which she paired with nude pumps and a simple gold bracelet. She finished off her look with lavender makeup and a sleek lob.

Posen posted a photo from the red carpet to Instagram, which he captioned, "With my beautiful date @katieholmes212 in @zacposen celebrating #BrooksBrothers200.”

Prior to her nights out in New York City, including an appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival, Holmes was spotted at the second weekend of Coachella in Indio, California, posing with Beyonce and her mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, following Queen Bey’s set at the music festival.

“With the talented Katie Holmes and @beyonce,” Lawson captioned a shot on Instagram last week.

Holmes posted the same pic, writing, “It was a dream come true to watch the incredible @beyonce at #beychella this weekend. I feel so blessed to have met these most kind and gracious women. I am a super fan and still smiling from watching @beyonce amazing performance. She is the greatest artist!!!!! I am so thankful.”

The actress also recently reunited with her Dawson’s Creek co-stars for the 20th anniversary of the beloved show. Check it out:
