Kelly Ripa gave her Instagram followers a glimpse at what goes into achieving a bikini body like hers.
On Thursday, the Live With Kelly and Ryan host posted video on her Instagram story of her working out during her family vacation, wearing only a sports bra, workout pants and sneakers. In the footage, she's seen attempting to run as fast as she can while her husband, Mark Consuelos, holds a resistance band around her waist.
The two were clearly amused by the exercise move and at first, Ripa is a little slow. "Actual speed," she jokingly captioned the video.
She then starts to pick up the pace, quipping: "Nailed it."
The 47-year-old TV personality later switches places with Consuelos, and he sprints off as if there's no resistance band at all. "Running of the bulls," she captioned the video.
Ripa and Consuelos' couples workout comes just days after the Riverdale star defended a bikini pic he lovingly posted of his wife of almost 22 years after seeing some of the negative Instagram comments.
“I posted this pic of the women I most admire. As a playful tribute to my wife who I’m proud of in endless ways," he wrote. "She works extremely hard in her professional life and her commitment to exercise, healthy diet is admirable and the benefits show.”
“Yes she’s wearing a bikini at age 47 and will no doubt wear one for many years to come,” Consuelos continued. “If that offends you in some way, if it triggers you, or some other psychosis you’re suffering from, I suggest you get over it and get used to it.”
