The 'HP' singer is opening up about his humble beginnings and rise to fame.

Maluma's story is getting the documentary treatment.

Fans will see a new side to the Latin superstar when his YouTube documentary, MALUMA: Lo Que Era, Lo Que Soy, Lo Que Seré, releases on June 5. YouTube dropped the first teaser on Thursday.

The 90-minute doc will tell the story of how Juan Luis Londoño Arias became Maluma, from his humble beginnings in Colombia, to his soccer career, to his journey to music and selling out stadiums around the world. Jessy Terrero directed the project, which includes interviews with those closest to Maluma and the artist himself.

"I sacrificed everything, my friends, my family... [it's] the price I had to pay to become what I am today," Maluma says in the teaser, which showcases both the highs and lows that comes with his level of fame. Watch below.

It's an exciting time for Maluma, who recently announced 21 US dates for his 11:11 Tour. He's also coming off the success of his collaboration with Madonna, "Medellín."
