The 'This Is Us' star told Instagram followers that she's dreamed of hiking the mountain since she was 18.

Mandy Moore just checked off something major off her bucket list.

The This Is Us star, her fiancé, Taylor Goldsmith, and a handful of her closest pals climbed to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, earlier this week.

"I have dreamed the dream of climbing Mt Kilimanjaro since the age of 18," Moore wrote on Friday alongside an Instagram slideshow of her unforgettable adventure. "Thanks to @eddiebauer, my partner in this adventure, this past week saw #1 on my bucket list come to fruition and I lived out one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my life with a few of my best friends."

"There was no reception on the mountain so I’m going to dole out some pics of our trip over the next few days," she continued. "Stay tuned-it’s worth it! #liveyouradventure #ebcontributer #whyihike."

The Walk to Remember star also shared a handful of pictures and videos on her Instagram Story of the experience. In one of her clips, she explained that, five minutes into their epic trek, the group encountered several baboons. In another, she appears out of breathe and says, "We made it to the first camp. Woo," as she spins her phone around.

A week ago, Moore snapped a pic of her and the group getting started on their major feat. "And we’re off. #CountdowntoKili has arrived. I’ve been dreaming of seeing her and doing this since I was 18," she captioned the before shot. "Couldn’t be more grateful for this crew and everything this experience is bound to be. Let’s do this! ??"

Moore appears to be making the most of her time off after wrapping season 2 of This Is Us. The show's leading lady will reprise her role of Rebecca Pearson for season 3, but before that she might have some wedding planning to do. Moore and Goldsmith, the lead singer of the band Dawes, confirmed their engagement in September 2017.

ET caught up with the bride-to-be back in November, where she detailed her ideal "house party" wedding.
