Elton John could possibly take his life experiences to the big screen as talks of a biopic for the acclaimed musician have already begun.
According to Reuters.com, the biopic, entitled Rocketman (named after one of his hit songs), will be produced by John's significant other David Furnish and British producer Steve Hamilton Shaw. John is also on board as executive producer for the biography, with playwright Lee Hall penning the script.
"Rocketman will be a radically different kind of biopic," Shaw said in an interview with Deadline. The producer also alluded that the film would be "hyper-visual" with a more indirect storytelling style. As for the lead role, no one's been confirmed yet but reports suggest that actor James McAvoy is on the top of their wish list.
