Internet Star Grumpy Cat Gets Movie Deal

Internet sensation Grumpy Cat has inked a movie deal in the latest bit of success for the sourpuss kitty known for her adorable grouchy facial expressions.

The feisty feline's reps are teaming up with Broken Road Productions -- the company behind comedies including Kevin James's Paul Blart Mall Cop and Adam Sandler's Jack and Jill -- to make a film based on Grumpy Cat's persona, the Los Angeles Times reports.
