Ferrell Talks Kanye 'Anchorman 2' Rap Battle
Will Ferrell was able to secure some pretty amazing A-list cameos in the highly anticipated Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, but one of the most surprising guest appearances had to be rapper/designer/"creative genius" Kanye West.
ET recently caught up with the stars of Anchorman 2, who revealed that Kanye and Ferrell actually got into an epic rap battle during filming!

"I did [rap with him], and then he very politely said, 'Don't ever do that again,'" Ferrell recalled. "'You're horrible.'"
Though his co-star David Koechner (Champ) begged to differ.
'No, quite the opposite. Will was slightly better," he joked. "There was almost a pall that fell over the set because it was like, 'Uh oh.' If that was a rap battle, Will kinda won it."
"I mean, it was a blast, everyone was game," Paul Rudd (Brian) added. "Everybody that came in here or there was excited to be there. We were excited to kind of have a lot of people show up, and it was just surreal, and crazy."
Steve Carell (Brick) remembered one cameo in particular that audiences just have to wait and see.
"I'll try to say this as non-spoilery as possible, to watch an actor, heretofore not known for his comedy -- and his son, in real-life his son -- lob grenades at us was hilarious," he smiled. "I loved it. And what a great guy -- well, you'll see."

Though on a serious note, Ferrell said that there were no egos when it came to the multiple celeb cameos in the film.
"We've got some very A-list stars who joined that scene, but in terms of any ego issue everyone was just so excited to be there, and such a fan of the first one, and literally telling us, 'We'll do anything.'"
Watch the video to hear why it was hard for Christina Applegate to step into her Veronica Corningstone character after nine years, as well as newcomer Meagan Good on what it was like to kiss Ron Burgundy!
