The third trailer for Star Trek Beyond debuted on Monday, not just giving fans another peek at the latest film in the franchise, but also Rihanna's new single, "Sledgehammer." The somber trailer has Kirk (Chris Pine) turning in his last report as the captain of the USS Enterprise while Rihanna croons, "I am bracing for the pain and I am letting go."

Sadly, the film marks actor Anton Yelchin's last Star Trek film, after his death earlier this month due to a tragic accident. Last week, Paramount Pictures cancelled a Star Trek Beyond event at the 63rd Cannes Lions festival, where the cast of the highly anticipated sci-fi film were set to appear.
Star Trek director J.J. Abrams penned a note to Yelchin, which he shared via Twitter. "Anton -- you were brilliant. You were kind. You were funny as hell, and supremely talented," the hand-written letter read. "And you weren't here nearly long enough. Missing you… JJ."
Watch the video below for more heartbreaking reaction from Yelchin's co-stars over the years.
