Video Premiere: Brandon Boyd's 'Lady Black'

As Incubus front man Brandon Boyd's new project Sons of the Sea gears up to release its debut album, ETonline premieres their video for "Lady Black."

With Incubus on break following the conclusion of the Honda Civic Tour, which came after the release of its 2011 album If Not Now, When?, Boyd has taken on the new project, which has been described as "elegant, nuanced pop songs that show rock influence, yet ultimately live outside of the genre."

While Boyd has released seven albums with Incubus over the span of 16 years, Sons of the Sea isn't the 37-year-old singer's only venture away from the alternative rock band.

In addition to his other artistic adventures, including literature and paintings, Boyd released his debut solo album, The Wild Trapeze, in 2010, on which he played an assortment of instruments, including guitar, drums, and bass, in addition to singing.
