Howard Stern Proclaims Himself 'America's Judge'

ET's Christina McLarty was there today as shock jock Howard Stern got a hero's welcome in his hometown of New York City while meeting the public along with fellow America's Got Talent judges to tape auditions for the show.

Stern -- whose worth is estimated to be more than $500 million -- spoke to Christina about his huge fan welcome and said while he feels some pressure being the newest judge on the top-rated show, he just doesn't want to disappoint the audience.

In fact, Stern said he's sure to become a fan favorite. "I'm the judge America agrees with. It's weird, everything I say people agree with. You'll see - you'll be sitting at home saying 'Yeah, Howard's got it right.'"

As his radio show fans already know, Stern is known for his no-holds-barred questions and harsh star critiques. In keeping with this style, he gave his assessment of one of the most famous celebrities in the world, Kim Kardashian. "There's someone without any talent. She's void of talent." He adds that Kardashian would not do well on the NBC talent competition because she would surely "get the buzzer."
